26th Conference and General Assembly of the Romanian Airports Association

These days, the 26th Conference and General Assembly of the Romanian Airports Association is taking place in Iași.

The event, the most important in the civil aviation industry in Romania, is attended by over 150 participants – representatives of institutions with responsibilities in the field of aviation, general managers of airports, representatives of airlines and companies operating in the aviation industry.

The main theme of the Conference is the Development of Civil Aviation in Romania in the next decade, and the discussions within the event are grouped in 5 debates: “Development of civil aviation in Romania”, “Regulations, technologies and standards on civil aviation safety”, “Challenges for airlines operating on the Romanian market in the next decade “,” Civil aviation security in Romania and Europe “and” The impact of new technologies on airport services “.

Mr. David Ciceo, President of the Romanian Airports Association, spoke about the need to develop airports, in the context of a significant increase in air traffic. By 2035, it is estimated that the number of passengers at Romanian airports will double.
