Directors of Romanian airports participated on March 31st at Aviation Event 2022, the most important event from the aviation industry organized in Romania, at Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport. The Romanian Airports Association was the partner of the event that gathered specialists from the civil aviation field, directors of Romanian airports, representatives of authorities and other specialists from the aviation industry.
The participants had a meeting with Mr. Luis Felipe de Oliviera, general manager of the Airports Council International (ACI), an organization that represents the main interests and objectives of the airports around the world.
During the event, several aspects of civil aviation were discussed, such as problems that Romanian airports are facing due to the Pandemic of Covid-19 or the geopolitical events in Eastern Europe.
The most important aviation related event in Romania was attended by Vasile Dîncu, the Minister of Defence, Irina Munteanu, Prefect of Cluj county, Dan Tarcea, Deputy mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Nicolae Stoica, General Director of the Romanian Civil Aeronauthical Authority, Adrian Cojoc, General Manager of the Romanian Air Trafic Services Administration ROMATSA, representatives of Romanian airports, airline companies, and other institutions from the field, Rafael Schwartzman, Regional Vice-president of IATA Europe, Michael Kerkloh, Member of the Lufthansa Supervisory Board, Vitaly Kucheruk, General Director of Kherson International Airport (Ucraine).
