The Romanian Airports Association in collaboration with the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority organized between September 2 and 6, 2019, the 12th edition of the Meeting of the Aeronautical Security Managers of the Romanian Airports.

The event, which took place in Mamaia, was attended by representatives of the airports, of the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority and of the Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration ROMATSA R.A.

The main purpose of the 12th Meeting of Air Safety Managers at Airports was to ensure an exchange of experience between participants, in order to identify common needs at airport level, in terms of implementing national and community security requirements and rules.

Thus, during the debate sessions, current security issues faced by Romanian airports, issues related to major risks to civil aviation, as well as important aspects of security requirements imposed at Community level were discussed.
