Between June 21 and 25, 2021, the 16th edition of the Meeting of the Romanian Airport Security Managers took place in Baia-Mare.

The event organized by the Romanian Airports Association in collaboration with the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority was attended by the Romanian airport security officials, representatives of state institutions, handling companies and Romanian Air Traffic Service Administration representatives. The workshops discussed issues related to airport security in the context of the Covid 19 pandemic, issues related to the application of the rules and requirements imposed by the European Commission, regarding security equipment, issues related to security measures regarding baggage handling and passengers.
